The 2019 Chenin Blanc Verdelho has a little more presence compared to the Grenache Blanc, featuring scents of white peach, grapefruit and orange blossom and some waxy aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, and quite saline in the mouth. An engaging bitter note on the finish urges you back for another sip. This is an excellent, quite compelling Chenin from winemaker Marelise Niemann.
