The mid-yellow colour is not 100% filter-bright (presumably unfiltered), and it has a fluffy baker's yeast bouquet with an edginess that suggests and struggling fermentation, together with creamy, cashewnutty, bready nuances, lemon juice as well, dried pear appearing later. The palate is quite delicate and reserved, youthfully undeveloped and dry, the line seamless and long with a core of sweet fruit followed by distinct tannin which adds a gentle, drying grip. Very good intensity, the palate especially appealing. A powerful chardonnay that dances to its own tune.
