A softly oaky nose is comprised by notes of floral, spice and dark raspberry. There is good richness and volume to the velvet-textured medium-bodied flavors that are surprisingly robust on the mildly tangy and lean if solidly lingering finish. This is presently somewhat awkward but I suspect that it will ultimately come together. Note: from vines planted in 1950
