A brooding and still very tight nose only grudgingly reveals subtle spice nuances on the dark berry fruit aromas that are trimmed in a more moderate application of wood. There is excellent size, weight and power to the broad-shouldered flavors that exude a fine minerality on the impressively long and very firmly structured finish. This is very Malconsorts in basic character as there is plenty of muscle. Drink: 2027+
