Tasting Notes

Lots of bark, mushroom and forest-flower aromas with crushed cherries. Complex. Medium body with lovely acid tension and a racy and pretty finish. Very fine tannins. Lots of energy here. Drink after 2025.

A bright red color, the 2019 Brunello Di Montalcino is floral and aromatic of preserved strawberries, baby powder, and herbes de Provence. Medium-bodied, it has refined ripe tannins, even acidity, and a clean, stony textured finish. A lovely and charming wine, it’s drinking well now and will drink well over the coming 8-10 years. (Drink between 2024-2034)

Crystalline and fragrant on the nose, smells welcoming. Smooth and sleek, lovely cool freshness from the first sip with energy and focus. I love the easy nature to this yet feels so polished at the same time. Feels careful and very approachable to like with touches of wet stone, cool blue fruit and a mineral finish. The acidity gives the tang while the fine tannins settle around the edges. Lovely. (Drink between 2025-2038)
