Grapes come from all sectors of their vineyard. Medium deep purple. I am slightly puzzled by this nose which seems quite lightweight, but then it starts to grow slowly., though still hard to pick out the detail. In the mouth there is a wealth of fruit, red rather than black and a seamless texture, much more promising. The stems just give a tingling sensation at the back.
Mid cherry. Fresh and deeply fragrant and sweet-fruited on the nose. Dry, light tannins. All in balance and a nice chalky finish. Dry but mouth-watering finish.
