Meursault Sous le Dos d'Ane, Domaine Leflaive 2017

Thanks to the big crop set the team made sure to do a green harvest. There is currently a bit of reduction, vegetal not gunflint, but this will pass. Attractive waves of flavour on the palate, a touch of sandalwood from the oak, medium bodied, attractively nuanced, medium persistence. Certainly a good wine, this may shrug off its adolescent pimples to deliver something even more exciting. Tasted: October 2018.
