A deep, dark colour with rich and pure cassis on the nose, accented by light hints of sweet vanilla and nutmeg. The palate is powerful and chalky, with rich tannins providing the structure for dark blackcurrant fruits. Pure and intense, this is powerful and youthful but harmonious, with vibrant acids and lifted floral tones through the mid palate. Fine and driven through to a long and spicy finish. Decant if drinking now, but this will only improve with 2-3 years bottle age, and should continue to drink well for a further 8-10 years.
