**Note: from vines first planted in 1902**
This is slightly riper and more deeply pitched even though the floral component is notably present on the pungent nose that displays plenty of earth and spice elements on the plum and dark berry suffused aromas. There is a luscious and succulent mouth feel to the broad-shouldered yet elegant flavors that possess outstanding mid-palate density. In the same fashion as its sibling, while there is excellent power the beautifully persistent finish is essentially quite refined thanks to the fine grain of the supporting tannins. A wine of harmony that should drink well both young and well-aged.
