The medium to dark ruby-colored 1998 Vosne-Romanee Les Suchots has gorgeous oak-covered cherry aromas. Medium to full-bodied and broad, this hedonistic wine coats the palate with creamed cherries. It has excellent structure (with its tannins buried in deep layers of fruit) and a long, silky, pure finish. Anticipated maturity: now-2008.
