Tasting Notes

Deep purple-colored, with spicy new oak and black currant fruit in the nose, this medium-bodied, dense, muscular wine reveals dry tannin in the finish, but abundant fruit, extract, and richness. If everything comes together, this will be an excellent wine, as well as a very good value. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2012. Last tasted 11/97
