Chambolle Musigny VV, Domaine Fourrier 2020

Tasting Notes

Slightly riper aromas include those of black cherry, dark raspberry, violet and pretty exotic tea wisps. The sleeker and slightly richer medium-bodied flavors possess a subtle minerality that comes to the fore on the slightly warm finish that also reflects a hint of bitter pit fruit character. Note: from Les Mombies and Les Herbues

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is pretty, bursting with aromas of sweet berries, plums, rose petals and soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, pure and charming, with lively acids, powdery tannins and a saline finish, it's more elegant than the Morey-Saint-Denis that preceded it.
