The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Vendémiaire (2016 base) was disgorged in June 2021 with four grams per liter dosage. It's another fine rendition of this perennially reliable cuvée, delivering aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruit, nectarine, white flowers and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping palate. Built around lively acids and complemented by a pillowy mousse, it's seamless and elegant, with a touch less overt richness than the 2015 base. While it's approachable on release, it will be even better with a few years on cork.
