"It used to be hard to sell red blends," says Donovan Rall, “but that’s changing.” This wine is part of the reason why. Combining Syrah from schist soils with 20% Cinsault from granite, it has the depth, concentration and intensity of the 2024 vintage, a spine of chewy tannins, some subtle reduction and a palate of blackberry, damson, fennel and dried herbs.
