Ripe and vaguely liqueur-like aromas of pear, green fruit, citrus confit and spice are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. The generously portioned big-bodied flavors display a taut muscularity and excellent power on the solidly long, balanced and very firm finale. Poruzots always ages extremely well yet this could reasonably be approached after 5-ish or so years. Note: from a .72 ha parcel
