Moderate reduction flattens the fruit though there is good freshness to the lilting and very supple flavors that retain a lovely sense of detail and ample minerality on the mildly austere finale. Like the Clos St. Denis this is definitely on the lighter side for a Gevrey grand cru though it's undeniably pretty.
