The ultra-floral, cool and restrained nose offers up notes of tea, spice, plum and airy red berry fruit aromas. The medium-bodied and equally mineral-driven flavors also possess fine detail on the soil-inflected, linear and mildly austere and tightly coiled finish. I very much like the silky mid-palate and this should amply repay 12 to 15 years of cellaring. In a word, brilliant. (Drink starting 2026)
