A very spicy nose of notably ripe plum and cassis aromas is trimmed in a subtle wood treatment that leads to energetic and seductively textured middle weight flavors brimming with minerality and dry extract that confers both lift and a seductive texture to the balanced, pure and velvety finish. This is not quite as elegant as it usually is but it is a really lovely effort just the same.
