Whiffs of gardenia and exotic tea can be found on the aromas of petrol, pear and the barest hint of wood. The finer, but not denser, middle weight flavors do possess slightly better underlying tension as well as more evident minerality that adds a sense of lift to the youthfully austere, balanced and sneaky long finale. This is very classy, indeed it's pretty much textbook. Note: from a .47 ha holding
Fine pale lemon. The bouquet has the warmth of the vintage plus the habitual subtlety of Genevrières. A fine thread of stony lemon scented fruit through the middle, a slight warmth at the back, but good acidity. Just needs longer in elevage. Drink from 2029-2035.
Cask sample. Edgy, nervy, herbal, textured wine with real interest. Long and savoury. Well done! Drink: 2027-2040
