Langhe Nebbiolo, Lalu 2021

Lara Rocchetti and Luisa Sala’s 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo emphasises a radiance and florality that renders this oh-so drinkable – yet it's far from simple. Intense aromas of rose make way for raspberries with a mineral drive penetrating the exuberant, pure-fruited palate. Nebbiolo’s tactile tannins build to a lightly assertive grip, and balanced acidity leaves the mouth refreshed. For the record, this ages in a combination of cement and 25hl Austrian oak tini (vats). Luisa Sala describes Langhe Nebbiolo as Lalù’s most representative wine as they aren’t constrained by specific ageing regulations. 2023-2028
