This is the first wine to display any appreciable reduction though there is good freshness and verve to the caressing and velvet-textured medium-bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the better-balanced and more structured finish. I would note that while there is a touch of warmth, it's sufficiently subtle as to not really compromise the overall sense of harmony.
Two plots next to Bonnes Mares and one next to Christophe Roumier’s Cras. Bright even purple. Rather reductive nose. Very fine rich generous fruit in the mouth, optimum ripeness, just firmed up a bit at the back by the reduction. Very long finish. This would be first class without the reduction.
