A wonderfully elegant, cool and very restrained nose combines notes of essence of acacia blossom, mineral reduction, mint tea and a variety of white fleshed fruit, all of which is trimmed in lovely spice nuances, especially anise. There is solid density and outstanding delineation to the chiseled and almost painfully intense broad-shouldered yet gorgeously refined flavors that brim with both minerality and dry extract on the very firm, youthfully austere and slightly warm finish that goes on and on. I would add that this changed enormously during the course of several hours as it went from plump, round and almost forward to tightly wound and quite serious.
