Vosne Romanée, Domaine Berthaut 2018

This too is ripe but really quite fresh with its cool essence of markedly spicy aromas of red and dark currant and floral hints. There is both good verve and detail to the refreshingly saline flavors where the impressively long finish is shaped by firm tannins. I very much like the depth and persistence though I would underscore that this is a very serious Vosne villages that will require at least some patience and should reward 10 to 12 years.
