Here too the nose is quite ripe and displays notes of poached plum, black raspberry liqueur and plenty of warm earth and pepper hints. There is excellent volume and fine richness to the reasonably precise flavors that exhibit fine length on the firm, dusty and youthfully austere finale. This is sufficiently structured to need at least a few years of cellaring first. Drink: 2027+
