Echézeaux, Domaine Coquard Loison-Fleurot 2023

Tasting Notes

The 2023 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a lovely bouquet with brambly red fruit, sous-bois and touches of pressed rose petal blossoming in the glass. There is very fine delineation here. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. It is quite svelte in texture, with pinpoint acidity and a mineral-laden finish that lingers long in the mouth. This cuvée actually surpasses the 2022. Drink 2028-2046.
