Vosne Romanée Les Beauxmonts, Verdet 2017

Here the fresh and ripe nose reflects a whiff of exotic and spicy green jasmine tea that is trimmed in a hint of sandalwood. The rich, sleek and nicely voluminous flavors possess the natural refinement of a top Vosne 1er along with evident minerality before culminating in a mildly warm if persistent finish. The balance isn't perfect, but this is really pretty good and should only improve with a few years of bottle age. Worth checking out.
