Tasting Notes

A more reserved but wonderfully broad-ranging nose grudgingly reveals notes of mineral reduction, green apple, acacia, honeysuckle, lemon rind and a whiff of something akin to incense. The racy and almost painfully intense medium weight flavors seem to be built on a base of liquid stone as the mouth feel is almost aggressively mineral, all wrapped in a cool, focused and hugely long finish where like several wines in the line-up, display a hint of bitter lemon. This is a really lovely effort but note well that at least moderate patience will be necessary. Sweet spot Outstanding
