Chambolle Musigny Feusselottes, Cecile Tremblay 2017

Tasting Notes

The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes is developing nicely, wafting from the glass with an expressive bouquet of cherries, raspberries, orange rind, sweet spices and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, it's elegantly fleshy and gourmand, with melting tannins, succulent acids and a gently oak-inflected finish. This is already drinking with style, though it will continue reward a little more patience. Drink Date:
2021 - 2040

Medium depth of colour, very aromatic nose, quite savoury even, then a very good concentration of fruit right through the middle, with lovely energy behind, which goes right to the back. Sombre raspberry style. Tasted: November 2018.
