Gevrey Chambertin Lavaux Saint Jacques, Domaine Armand Rousseau 2016

Tasting Notes

The 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaux Saint-Jacques 1er Cru has a gorgeous, pure bouquet with perfumed raspberry, cranberry and pomegranate aromas that are beautifully entwined with the oak. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, well-judged acidity and whilst there is a patina of oak to be assimilated, it feels as if it is singing from the same hymn sheet as the fruit. Class, class, class. Tasted blind at the 2016 Burgfest tasting. 2022 - 2045
