The holding consists of 3 ouvrées from 1929 and one from 1954. Enough for 3 barrels. This starts out with an imperial purple colour and there is exceptional density on the nose too. I detect a touch of graphite, which comes from the new barrel component and will soon integrate. Still more red fruit than black. This is pretty intense wine, though under 14% in alcohol.
