The elevated altitude of this vineyard is well in evidence as here the nose is quite cool and restrained with beautifully spicy aromas of mostly red berry fruit laced with a bit of cassis blossom. The mineral-driven middle weight flavors possess a suave mouth feel as there is ample dry extract that renders the tannins much less prominent, if not invisible, on the lacy and pure finish. I very much like the finesse and understated style.
