Tasting Notes

20% of the crop went into this wine from the plots Ballonges 2, La Forge, Plantation 11, Jeanniard, and Plantation 2005, with about 25% whole bunch vinification and 46% new wood. Fine mid crimson, with again a little reduction. Peppery notes also. Again the underlying fruit looks quite exciting. Some rougher notes behind, because the wine is very backward and has not together yet. With another taste the fruit rebuilds very nicely. Drink from 2027-2032. Drink from 2026-2032. Tasted Nov 2022.
