Côtes du Rhône Blanc, Domaine Jean-Paul Jamet 2024

Tasting Notes

Mixing 35% Marsanne with 30% Viognier, 25% Grenache Blanc and a dollop of Roussanne, the 2024 Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc first lifts with a moderate but finely tuned stream of pear, yellow apple, softly present apricot and lemon flesh aromatics. Medium-bodied and aromatic, the 2024 is meticulously balanced by soft acidity, steering the palate toward the close with apple skin and subtly salty tones on the sapid close. (Drink between 2026-2028)

Aromatic and fresh, with quite a soft and easy-going palate. Fresh and lively even if the acidity is fairly mild. Bit more Viognier this year, as there was less Marsanne and Grenache. Viognier is more resistant as the vines are much more aerated, with fewer leaves. (Drink between 2025-2027)
