A much more restrained nose reluctantly displays cool aromas of essence of red pinot fruit where suggestions of both spice and floral elements add breadth. The super-sleek, intense and tautly muscular larger-scaled flavors exude an almost pungent minerality before terminating in a chiseled, austere and compact finale.
