Tasting Notes

The 2022 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru has a perfumed bouquet with rose bush-infused red fruit, orange rind, forest floor, and light pencil box aromas. The medium-bodied palate is very tensile and poised with fine-boned tannins, gaining weight towards the finish that exerts a gentle grip. It's the one cuvée I feel will benefit from as long an élevage as possible (within reason). Great potential. (Drink between 2028-2050)
