1.25 barrels, all new wood and all whole bunch. More black than purple. Massive intensity to the nose, almost opaque, dark fruit a little brambly, but very hard to get inside yet. It is absolutely all there on the palate but so wound up in itself that the detail cannot be read. Liquid black cherries. This will certainly go all the way.
