Dense, smoky and sweet on the nose with coffee, earthy and ripe dark cherries. The palate follows, with mouthcoating chalky tannins and dark fruit that is both sweet and savoury. Layered espresso and anise comes through, with persistent structure and smoky fruit. Long and ripe on the finish.
