Bright purple with a ruby rim. This is generous, with ripe dark raspberry fruit, and a solid concentration of fruit across the tannin, plus tannins to finish. This has an impressive weight but is not the most delicately framed of Echezeaux despite the nuances. I have the feeling, though, that this wine has not yet finishd showing all its potential. Drink from 2032-2040.
