A mix of wood and natural spice sits atop red and blackberry liqueur aromas that merge into rich, concentrated and pure flavors that happily possess plenty of extract as the tannins are robust and quite firm. This is a relatively powerful effort that isn't an exercise in finesse but it most impressive nonetheless. A big Vosne villages. (Drink starting 2016)
