Tasting Notes

Charles Van Canneyt's 2015 Charmes-Chambertin offers serious intensity and pure power. A huge core of dark red and bluish-hued fruits hits the palate in a virile, imposing wine endowed with considerable tannic heft. Today, the Charmes is a bit monolithic and closed, but it seems to offer good potential. (Drink between 2025-2035)
