Tasting Notes

Bright ruby in the glass with a fragrant nose that jumps out of the glass, this is loaded with juicy strawberry and redcurrant, pressed flowers and white tea. A vibrant and enticing wine, the palate opens with more of that cool, juicy berry fruit and a streak of fine, tangy acidity. Smooth and supple, this is open-knit and gorgeous to drink right now. Everything fits together beautifully, this is a moreish, appetising Pinot Noir that is all about lift and primary, silky fruit. Subtly mineral tones and a little pithy grip add intrigue on the finish. A steal at this price, this comes highly recommended for anyone looking for red Burgundy with character and balance that won't break the bank.

Thomas Parker MW, Farr Vintners, September 2026

A pleasing pinkish ruby. Here the bouquet shows a finer quality of fruit, more raspberry than cherry, with a crunchy tannin or two behind along with good acidity. This is crisply attractive with good persistence. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted Oct 2024.
