The 2022 Marsannay La Montagne has a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose, maybe a tad riper than the Clemengeots, though without the same focus. The balanced palate has a pastille-like purity on the black cherry and blueberry entry. There’s a bit of gas to contend with on the finish that has quite a punch. Fine. (Drink between 2027-2036)
