Donovan Rall has been making this wine since 2008, although the style has become more focused and refreshing over the last couple of decades. Chenin Blanc dominated, with 30% Verdelho and a splash of Viognier, it’s a wine that shows the influence of granite soils, with subtly integrated oak, flavours of citrus, chamomile and cardamom and a hint of apricot sweetness. Beautifully balanced, it’s a white that ages well too. Drink: 2027-35
