Full straw-yellow. Resin and custard complicate pear and apple on the nose. Very concentrated and already irresistible, with compellingly pure tropical fruit and delicate smoky flavors framed and extended by lively, ripe acidity. Finishes with terrific cut and grip and noteworthy length. About 15% of the grapes were hit by noble rot in 2011. This is just begging for a risotto with porcini.
