This has graphite, bramble fruit, violets. This is full bodied, rich but with a sense, of delineation, a style looking for subtlety.
Black core with purple rim. More purely black-fruited than the Sandeman 2024, more blackcurrant but also the floral side of Touriga Nacional. Surprisingly delicate, more like a young red wine than a fiery young port, with mouth-watering freshness, accentuated by the tannins. Great purity and really fine tannins, like many delicate layers that build something firmer. Elegant and fresh. You really could enjoy this now though of course it has great ageing potential. A lovely wine that is both intense and subtle at the same time with a very long finish. Drink: 2030-2060
