Tabuérniga is one of the more beautiful vineyards in Labastida, a village that isn’t short of spectacular sites. Sourced from eight terraces spread over 2.7 hectares, it’s a cuvée of Tempranillo, 30% Graciano and 10% Garnacha with aromas of lavender and wild thyme, flavours of liquorice, plum and black cherry, racy acidity and sinewy tannins. A Spanish wine with an Italian twist.
Aromas of crunchy dark fruit, violets, graphite and sloe berries, Medium- to full-bodied, expressive but not broad, with subtlety and detail. Fine-grained tannins add definition to this wine.
