Made by Chris Alheit with fruit from his Skurfberg vineyard source – really good rainfall in winter 2021 meant that the fruit production was almost double in volume and not quite as concentrated as he was used to getting. The Liberator benefited as a result. Papaya, papaya pips, orange and monkey orange. Grippy fine-ground spices texture. Almost chilli on the end! Vanilla pod – I wonder if there is a bit of barrel here. Cheerful and robust.
