Sale Highlight: Château Bernadotte 2015
We've slashed the price of 2015 Bernadotte - our favourite and best-selling Cru Bourgeois estate.
At just £10 a bottle in bond in a great vintage that is ready to drink, this has to be the British Wine Trade’s greatest Bordeaux bargain.
On the border of Pauillac, Château Bernadotte is a property formerly owned by Pichon Lalande, and the 2015 is a soft, sumptuous but compact claret that has received scores of 90 from Neal Martin and 91 from James Suckling.
For those looking for volume, we have reduced our price even further, dropping it as low as £100 per dozen in bond for orders of 10 dozen or more. You simply won’t find a better Bordeaux deal than this anywhere else.

The 2015 Bernadotte shoots above my expectation. It has a clean and fresh bouquet with plenty of appealing graphite notes. The palate is medium-bodied with dusky black fruit sprinkled with black pepper, good length and nicely focused. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting.
90 points, Neal Martin, Vinous, 2019
This has a very plush and slightly spicy palate with earthy notes as well as a gravelly, slightly leafy edge. The palate has a very composed core of fine, long tannins that finishes with gently grippy freshness. Try from 2021.
91 points, James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, 2018
