2023 Puech-Haut Rosé

The new vintage of our hugely popular rosé from the south of France is now with us and ready for delivery. We have been importing Puech-Haut Rosé for more than a decade now and the quality and consistency is as striking as ever: this is the only rosé you will need for the summer months.

This Provençal-style rosé from the south of France is a pale, dry wine that offers great value for money. Bursting with white strawberries, stone fruits and a hint of garrigue, it will offer beautiful drinking over the summer months.

There cannot be many (if any) finer rosés out there that offer better value for money and, as ever, we have both magnums and double magnums available - these are perfect for celebrations and barbecues. The double mags are particularly impressive and a talking point in their own right.

The 2023 Argali Rose is terrific, with a vibrant, refreshing, crisp style that brings plenty of fruit and depth. White peach, fresh strawberries, and floral notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, with a supple, elegant mouthfeel, bright acidity, and a clean finish. This clean, classy, incredibly well-balanced rosé is well worth seeking out and is perfect for a hot summer day as well as on the dinner table.

A pale pinkish hue in the glass, as usual the nose on this wine is peachy and inviting, with vibrant tones of raspberry and a hint of strawberry. The palate is dry, with juicy layers of white strawberry, crunchy cranberry and peach. This is silky in texture with bright acids keeping everything fresh. Keep a bottle chilled in the fridge for all occasions and enjoy over the coming year.

Pale in colour, pale aromas, pale flavours. A watercolour of raspberries, white peach, bleached beach-shell saltiness. Very smooth. Not very long but it is elegant. And I really like the dusting of white pepper on the finish.
