In 2012 Château Latour chose to exit the en primeur system, choosing instead to release their wines -the Grand Vin, Les Forts de Latour and Pauillac de Latour - when they were deemed to be ready to drink. 2023 sees the release of 2015 Château Latour, 2017 Forts de Latour and 2018 Pauillac de Latour.
All three wines are as impressive as one would expect. 2015 Château Latour is a wine of power, density and definition. 2017 Forts de Latour is focused and deceptively intense, rivalling the super seconds in quality. 2018 Pauillac de Latour is ripe and succulent as expected, with the muscular DNA of the estate shining through; making it very fine value for a wine from one of the world’s greatest wine producers.
